Worfield

Shropshire village, 3 miles NE of Bridgnorth.

E. M.Almedingen (1898-1971) lived here in the 1920's after coming to this country from Russia.

P.G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) probably had Worfield in mind for his fictional village of Worbury in the Blandings stories.
