The village is dwarfed by the estate of Weston Park.
Weston Hall is a possible location for the fictional Blandings Castle in the novels of P. G. Wodehouse (1881-1975).
The novelist Ellen Thorneycroft Fowler (1860-1929) set her novel Miss Followfield's fortune (1908) here.
