Staffordshire town, 8 miles SE of Wolverhampton.
The town is mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086 but is more well known now for its football club West Bromwich Albion.
Novelist and journalist, David Christie Murray (1847-1907) was born in West Bromwich.
