linking the literature of the West Midlands of England
This section introduces a number of themes which occur throughout the works of West Midlands' writers. The themes provide a starting point for research and learning, and focus on works mainly from the 19th century to the present day.
Each theme provides a selection of quotes illustrating the theme, with links to the author profiles on the website, and includes a helpful list of suggested further reading and other websites to visit to explore the theme more fully.
