Worcestershire town, 7 miles NE of Kidderminster.
Samuel Johnson (1709-1784) was a pupil at the King Henry VI Grammar School in 1726, but only stayed for six months. His family had relatives in the area and it is thought that he taught some of the younger boys in return for his accomodation.
