Key Stage 4 History resources for teachers

This page lists those themes, or parts of themes, which could be used to assist with the teaching of the School's History Project; Medicine through time.

Outside of this list, many of the resources in the History of medicine learning package could help Key Stage 4 students to learn about:

  • 'prominent individuals'
  • 'who provided medical care'
  • 'what ideas did people have about the causes and treatment of illness and injuries'
  • 'diagnoses and treatments'
  • the 'impact of new ideas and treatments'

Note that all the pages on Shropshire Routes to Roots, including worksheets, are 'printer friendly', meaning they will print out without unnecessary logos or links and as such can be easily distributed to a class in a paper form.
