Zeppelin raids: Extract from a letter describing the horrible weapons of war

I have only one relative at the war + he is not killed yet; but I see that a fair number of young fellows I have known have been shot. We shall have those blooming Zeppelins over in England soon. Bomb-dropping is a haphazard form of fighting which makes away with more than a fair share of women + children. People used to say that weapons were getting so terrible that nations would be afraid to go to war. It looks like it!
