4. Aircraft crashes: Walk round Old Oswestry Hill Fort

Distance: Approx 1.5 miles from Oswestry town centre
Starting point:(MR SJ294305) access to Old Oswestry Hill Fort is via Gatacre Playing Fields car park, just behind Woodside School. Take the Gobowen Road out of Oswestry (B5069) heading east. Turn left up Llwyn Road, straight across at the small roundabout to the Gatacre Playing Field Gate. From here follow the path that climbs to the top of the hill fort.
