This photograph was taken during the last tour and train journey along the Potts line, a special trip organised by the Stephenson Locomotive Society.

A British Rail Shunter at work at the Abbey terminus, 1983. This was the only remaining section of track of the Old Potts line, used as a siding servicing the petrol depot.

The Abbey Station site as it is in 2004. The platform still exists and a footpath now follows the route of the Old Potts line.
