How has the Abbey station site changed?
The photographic record
By looking at photographs taken at different times we can trace the obvious physical changes to a site. The relatively modern use of photography presents obvious limitations. We have very few photographs of the early history of Abbey Station and have to rely on plans and descriptions to try to imagine how it would have looked.
