March 23rd 9 Bermans Street, London, W.

Sir,
We have the honour to forward to you a copy of the petition similar to in substance and object to one which has been adopted by the Councils of many important Municipal Boroughs, such as Manchester, Huddersfield, Newark and others, and to request that you will be good enough to bring the subject before the Local Board of Bridgnorth at its next meeting.

The object of the Bill referred to in the Petition is to remove the disability which precluded the women rate payers and owners of property who have votes in the election of local Boards and other local governing bodies, from voting in the election of Members of Parliament.

Since the matter concerns the interests of a considerable portion of the constituency which elects your Board, we venture to suggest that it is a fit subject for its consideration.
We have the honour to remain
your obedient servants
Margaret Pennington
Charles H. Hopwood
Sheldon Amos
