1. Introduction

This theme show cases examples of some of the sources that are supplied in a Information Pack. All of the sources were included in a recently produced Information Pack on the arrival of the Railway in Church Stretton.

What is an Information Pack?

Smaller than the Focus Packs, these are copies of primary and secondary source material for particular topics/themes and can be tailored for KS 1 through to 'A' level. For any topic which you want to give a Shropshire slant or to study in depth, we can advise on the availability of source material. Recent packs have included:

  • 'Evacuees in Shropshire in WWII'
  • 'Birmingham-Liverpool Canal at Market Drayton'
  • 'The Creation and Development of Telford'

How can an Information Pack be ordered?

Order forms for Information Packs are available from Shropshire Archives or via the Shropshire Archives website also from Shropshire School Library Service, Shropshire County Library Service and Telford & Wrekin Libraries.

Further information

Packs take up to 20 working days to supply, but longer when demand is high. Please order well in advance, if possible.

You can read About Shropshire Archives education resources (opens in a new window).
