Deed of William de Gloucestre of Lodelowe, tanner
26 May 1349
William de Gloucestre of Lodelowe, tanner (allutarius), executor of the testaments of William Broun, miller, and of Edith his wife and of Johan their daughter, have sold granted and confirmed to Robert de Wynehecombe and William le Deyare [both thought to be members of the Palmer's Guild] all that tenement with etc. situated in the town of Lodelowe in le Narewelone between the tenement of Agnes daughter of Richard de Chabbenore on one side and the tenement of Hugh le Ballede's on the other side which certain tenementtwas left to be sold to any purchasers by virtue of the testaments of the said William, Edythe and Johan their daughter and for the good of their souls as is contained in their last wills to have and to hold to them their heirs and assigns of the chief lords of that fee for services owed;
Witn: Richard de Corve, John Umfrey, John de Westhope, John de Orletone, Richard Kete, etc.; at Lodelowe Tuesday after Ascension Day A.R. 23 Edward III. Endorsed: Narow Lane / charter of a tenement in le Narwe Lane of the grant of William de Gloucestre.
