What was the legacy of Agnes Hunt?

"The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital", Oswestry.

The hospital was given this name after the death of Robert Jones in 1933.

Today it is a world famous orthopaedic hospital and National Health Service Trust. The hospital has gone from strength to strength. It has a world-wide reputation for training orthopaedic surgeons and nurses, and for its research into orthopaedic diseases such as arthritis.

All these services were developed through the vision of Agnes Hunt, working in partnership with Robert Jones. Not all were part of her grand plan but evolved and were instigated by these few dedicated and highly motivated individuals.
