Today in Sheinton what had once been a landscape of strips is now a landscape of hedged fields.

This study of manorial maps and surveys, glebe terriers, tithe maps and apportionments, deeds and parish registers has shown how the data from a variety of historical sources has been put together to create a picture of the changes in the farming system of Sheinton between the mid 18th and 19th centuries.
