Larceny from Dwelling House: On 9th September 1899, a gold guard and pendant attached, and one towel were stolen from the dwelling house of Elizabeth Bailey
Between 23rd September and 10th October 1899, one silver watch was stolen from the Dwelling House of George Jackson.
Investigated by P.C. 139 Hopwood and P.C. 83 Beckett
Both offences committed by Martha Venables, aged 32 years.
Found guilty on 17/10/1899 at Wellington Petty Sessions
Sentenced to One month's imprisonment with Hard Labour on both counts. Sentences to run concurrently.

Misdemeanor: During the night of 20th November 1899, one horse's mane and tail was cut in a field at Pool Hill, Dawley.
About 14 oz of hair stolen. Property of Fred Jones
Investigated by P.C. 139 Hopwood and P.C. 83 Beckett

Suspect was Arthur Roberts, aged 44 years.
Case dismissed on 27/11/1899 at Wellington Petty Sessions.
Not sufficient evidence of identity of the hair.

Larceny Simple: On 5th December 1899, one silk pocket handkerchief was stolen from the coachhouse at Doseley - parish of Dawley.
Investigated by P.C. 139 Hopwood
Committed by Thomas Madison, aged 18 years.
Found guilty on 11/12/1899 at Wellington Petty Sessions.
Bound over to keep the peace and to pay costs of £1.4s.6d. (£1.22p)
