Sutton Coldfield

Warwickshire town, 7 miles NE of Birmingham.

This former Warwickshire town is now a pleasant residential suburb of Birmingham. Sutton Park, covering 2,500 acres, is a designated National Nature Reserve.

Local historian D.V. Jones (1917-) wrote many books about the area.

Keith Miles (1940- ) lived for many years in the area and based one of his crime novels (using the pseudonym of Martin Inigo) at the Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, during the Ryder Cup golf tournament.
