Warwickshire town, 8 miles NW of Stratford-upon-Avon.
On the opposite side of the River Alne to the village is the parish of St Nicholas, Beaudesert. Richard Jago (d.1741) was Rector and his son, a poet, also called Richard Jago (1715-1781), was born here.
