Hartshill

Warwickshire village, 3 miles NW of Nuneaton.

The poet Michael Drayton (1563-1631) was born here and there is a memorial to him, in the form of a bus shelter, made from local granite. It was dedicated in 1972 by Sir John Betjeman.
