Warwickshire village, 1 mile SW of Nuneaton.
Now part of Nuneaton. Mary Ann Evans (1819-1880), who was to become the novelist George Eliot, was born at Arbury Farm and baptized in the local church. She depicted Chilvers Coton as Shepperton in her Scenes of clerical life (1857).
