Shropshire village, 3 miles N of Much Wenlock.
On the Much Wenlock side of the River Severn stand the picturesque and dignified ruins of Buildwas Abbey. Buildwas Park is a possible location of the fictional Blandings Castle in the novels of P. G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) although Weston Park now seems a more likely candidate.
